Subscriptions is one of the greatest tool that was developed for woocommerce and more than million webstore are currently powered by subscriptions extension for woocommerce. It comes with extensive features yet for people selling digital downloads, it is missing few features. For example, we here at woogang are selling digital products using woocommerce and subscriptions extension and have created woogang club product selling around 140 different items.

At the same time all these items are also sold individually on our website. So if we modify any of our digital product, we need to modify download links at two different places. One is single item product and another at club. So WooCommerce Subscriptions Download has been created to solve this duplication of work and make these changes more streamlined and simultaneous.

After installing and activating the extension, it will create a new field in single product box called subscriptions where you can link your downloadable product with any of the subscriptions you are selling. Once you create this product, you do not need to add same file in subscription product as it has been automatically connected earlier. When you update file in single product page, you subscriber also receives updated product automatically.
